Ohn Scoggins Joins Team Helix!

We are very proud to announce that Helix Disc Golf is the newest sponsor of Ohn Scoggins! She has come out of the gate hot in 2021 and we can’t wait to see what she does this year with a full professional tour schedule. Already this year, Ohn has won the Shelly Sharpe and The Memorial in Arizona. She finished in 4th place in the DGPT Las Vegas Challenge.

This past weekend, she put up the hot final round of -8 with birdies on 9 of the final 11 holes. This enabled her to vault up the leaderboard into 2nd place over some of the world’s best FPO players, including Paige Pierce, Sarah Hokom and Catrina Allen. It was an incredible performance in her first official tournament as a member of Team Helix.

In 2020, Helix Disc Golf began sponsoring some local pro players. Stay tuned for the Team Helix page to be posted on this website featuring pix and bios of each of our players. Ohn represents our most prominent signing. She is currently the 6th-highest rated FPO player in the world and has won 56 PDGA tournaments in her career. After a few years out of the national limelight, she returned to play some big events last year. In 2021, Ohn is playing a busy tour schedule. She is a Innova Star Team representative and is now part of Team Helix, as well.
